My son Told me : Drink Water!

My son always brightens my day whenever he comes home for the holidays. Each time, he greets me with a cheerful, “Mama, you look amazing! Whatever you’re doing, keep it up.” What he doesn’t know is that I treasure all his advice, meticulously noting them in my phone and marking them as important.

During one of his visits, he shared, “The best way to start your day is with water. You should drink up to 3 liters daily.” He went on to explain that water is the number one source of hydration, it normalizes blood pressure, flushes toxins from the body, and even enhances skin glow. Water is particularly beneficial for women above forty as it supports hormonal balance and can alleviate symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes and night sweats. Additionally, maintaining hydration helps improve joint lubrication and overall mobility, which can be concerns as we age. It’s remarkable that such a colorless and tasteless liquid can offer so many benefits, and there are even more that I haven’t mentioned. Inspired by his wisdom, I make sure to maintain my daily water intake diligently.

So, here’s to my favorite drink of the day and night. Cheers to a healthy life habit. Cheers to water!
